These pictures were taken right before deployment #2. Like many of us, Frank really dislikes having his picture taken but this particular morning he stopped (and even smiled=)) for the camera. Maybe he knew that somewhere in the back of my mind I was thinking this could be it...these could be the last pictures we have of him....because it's there, always there in the back of an Army wife's mind...will he come home this time. I thank God that He brought Frank home safely each and every time!
Life is so unbelievably precious! I urge you to take time today to thank the Lord for the joy, blessings and even the trials this life offers us. He is an amazing God!

How special to have the pictures from that day. I can't image the stress that military families go through. And that it's for all of us who never can say thank you enough!
